If you came from Janet's Blog then you are in the right place!

Every month I create a workshop with the featured paper collection and this is one of the layouts the ladies will be working on!

I have been trying to incorporate a Cricut cut with each month's Page Club...the cityscape from 'You Are Here' 'worked quite well for this Central Park paper collection.

This is a little of Beautiful British Columbia. Vancouver City, Stanley Park and Gas Town was where we decided to spend an afternoon...enjoying being a tourist in our own town :)

Our cloud cuts (Cricut) are fun but I wanted to add some additional dimension so I ran a few of them through the Cuttlebug using our retired dots embossing folder.

I'll add some journaling later on my PML card space...'a walk in the park' coudn't have been more perfect a title for this afternoon downtown.

The package of coordinating Central Park Complements has some cardstock weight stickers (love those) and some blue foil vellum embellishments which were fun to try to incorporate on this layout.

The green PML card was also the perfect photo mat...I try to remember to use those for mats when I can as having two sheets of PML cards in each paper pack means I'll have extra cards to use another way...

I've used this sketch from Let's Scrap Sketches as my starting point for this layout as well!

That's it for me...now off to Diana's Blog!

Sketch 6-15-18

June sketches! I'm not exactly sure where the days go but I'm sure y'all can relate...I always have great intentions to get creative...but sometimes that crazy thing called 'LIFE' interrupts my best intentions!

I am happy to report that a busy life is a happy life for me and I'm grateful to be able to be busy and have a household of people and projects, right?!!!

Let's Scrap Sketches has another fantastic sketch up for June...we have two a month for your inspirational pleasure and this month we've been playing with some fun ones.

I've created this page for the monthly Page Club at my local Scrapbook store...big day in my household as my eldest has finish her Phase1 of studies from University!!

This paper collection from one Canoe two, called Twilight, was lovely to highlight this big day. You might be able to make out the fun gold rub-ons there too. The die-cut embellishments made it super easy to get scrapped plus the great sketch design!

Head on over to our Let's Scrap Sketches Blog to see what the other Design Team created with this sketch and if you have time to play, we'd love to see you're creation through the InLinkz link to the right of the Let's Scrap Sketches blog :)

May Sketches from Let's Scrap!

This sketch inspired me to create for a bonus layout at the LSS I contribute to...

April 15th !!! Wowzers...I feel like this year is already going too fast.

I have to say that Michelle hit it outta the park with this layout...

simple yet perfect for so many events!

I'm getting lots documented from my trip to Cabo San Lucas,

this sketch helped me get 8 photos down :)

I've got room above my title on the RHS to put some journalling...I'll add that later!

The tags reminded me of suitcases and I do have a few holidays to get documented and into albums so it all worked great together!

If you're wanting to make this layout more interactive you could make those tags slid in and out and it could be a great place to tell the story of the photos...I liked it as a design concept but can already see using this idea in another layout with this same sketch :)

Have I told you lately how much I LOVE my border punches? Well case in point, this added bit changes the overall look by a bunch don't you think?! Plain 'ole cardstock getting a little jazz up!

It was a fabulous holiday and I've only just started documenting it...spending time with my BFF's to just unwind #allthefeels

Thanks for stopping by for a peek and I hope you have a chance to use this sketch for your projects.

Hugs,

Kristine

New Let's Scrap Sketch!

This is what we call a blast from the past...

We dug into the Let's Scrap Sketches Blog archives for this one but you can have some fun with photo layouts as the right page could lend itself to multiple photos!

I've been too busy travelling in January and February to get into my creative space but that doesn't mean you can't play along!

While we're at it, here's the February 1st sketch we revealed...it's a fantastic sketch for multiple photos and a great way to use up your scraps!

I think I see a layout featuring some of my recent cruise photos...love the flags and the pockets...perfect for hidden journalling or when you just can't decide which photos to use!

Hopefully you have a chance to play along with these sketches this month...if you link up your creation to our Let's Scrap Sketches Blog, you have a chance to win a little something.

New Sketch with Let's Scrap Sketches!

Check it out! Michelle has created another great one...

I have been playing with the new Carta Bella 'Cabin Fever' line and thought this layout would be perfect for our upcoming trip to Big White Resort...seeing as we will be in the snow!

I know there will be several photos taken of our adventures in the snow...

Super simple and super fast...why don't you play along with us!?!!

October 1st already!

Another fun sketch too...I started with this sketch but as you can see...once inspired, you usually just drift into a completed layout...which isn't a bad thing LOL

Make sure to head on over to the Let's Scrap Sketches Blog to see what the other Design Team have created.

Working with some leftover bits and paper from this month's Page Club Kit and some photos of my recent long weekend getaway into the interior...forest fire smoke wasn't going to keep us from enjoying the outdoors :)

I have to say I love the colours of this Simple Stories 'Cabin Fever' paper collection.

The jute burlap and mini staples pair nicely too!

Have fun creating along with us this month.

Welcome back!

It's the 15th of the month which means another sketch from

Let's Scrap Sketches!!!

Looks like fun right?!!

This sketch was perfect for my Australian trip and a handful of photos from our beach visits up the Gold Coast.

This was a CTMH paper collection from last catalog called 'No Worries' and we definitely had none of those when we visited Australia! It reminded me of Vancouver in so many ways!

So many great embellishments in this collection and I loved playing with the Burlap Ribbon too.

So glad you popped over for a visit...make sure you follow the links to the other Design Team members on the blog to check out their creations in detail through their blogs!

We love to have visitors...and we love it when

you play along with us.

Happy June 1st!!!

Yes, I am as amazed as you are that we are entering June 2017...where oh where has the year gone already !!!

BUT, with a new month comes a couple new sketches to imspire you so here you go:

Lots of spots for photos, journalling cards, flip flaps...you name it.

I just happened to have some embellishments that look like they were made for this sketch !

The cans were fussy cut from the paper but the tags and banners along the top were from the Ephemera pack that was available with this collection :)

This was a trip I went on with my man to Ucluelet, BC in February...it was all about enjoying the beauty of the area...nature, forest trails, the ocean and of course yummy food at the local restaurants and brewery :)

I played with the CTMH Ink Blot stamp set too...

Head on over to the Let's Scrap Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team did this time...remember to play along too <3 font="">

Holiday Joy

Hello my crafty friends!

It's the 15th of the month and that means we have another sketch posted at Let's Scrap Sketches...

This month I've designed some layouts for the Cherry Lane Scrapbook Shoppe's Page Club...we have used Photo Play's Holiday Cheer paper collection this month and it has a very subtle old fashioned feel to me :)

Apologies for the bad photo quality...I was losing daylight by the time I finished...

This was a trip to Leavenworth, WA back in 2004!

I have to admit it to y'all, scrapbooking older photos is hard...usually because the composition isn't where you'd have it now that you scrapbook and most importantly for me...it tends to make me sad of the days past...

Your kids literally grow up in a blink of the eye!

Head on over to the Let's Scrap Sketches blog to see what the other Design Team created this month! I hope you play along and get some scrapbooking done too :)

Kuranda Rainforest

November! Oh my!!!

Is it just me or is this year speeding by...I'm not sure how I feel about that ;)

With the first day of the month comes a brand new sketch with Lets Scrap Sketches...

...so that much we love!

I saw some new Graphic 45 papers at the Shoppe and had to play with it using some photos of our trip to Australia and the Kuranda Wildlife Centre...awesome day and great photos of us feeding the birds!

Graphoc 45 papers are usually pretty 'busy' for me...loads of pattern and sometimes challenging to use lots of it together...I loved this sketch for adding bits of pattern to get a taste for it.

Cork alphabet...all time favourite...not sure how it'll survive the years in an album...but I don't really care, so there! LOL

Burlap and twine...all time favourite for ribbon...you can probably tell that much about my style :)

I'm sure you'll have fun with this sketch...head on over to the Let's Scrap Sketches blog to see what the other Design Members did with this sketch...check out their blogs as well as you will often see tips or techniques and usually better photos of their projects :)

Happy Crafting my Creative Peeps!!!
